Every year in America, there are roughly 750,000 people who break a bone in their back due to osteoporosis. These types of fractures are called vertebral compression fractures and are very common with 1 in 4 post-menopausal women and 40% of women over the age of 80 experiencing a vertebral compression fracture in their lifetime.

Kyphoplasty is a minimally invasive surgical procedure used to stabilize the broken bone and eliminate the pain caused by the fracture. The procedure is performed through an incision that is ¼” or less and after the procedure is complete you will go home that day.
